You choose a plan in your account once you're in, and cancel it there any time. Your plan runs to the end of the month you paid for.
What counts as a pattern
One pattern is one new design drafted for you: a pattern from a description you confirmed, your own design, or a plan in words.
- Reading your description, and reading it again after you edit it, is free 10 times for a make. After that, one pattern covers the next 10 reads.
- Asking again for a design you already had on a make is free 2 times. It is the same design only while what it is made from is unchanged: your description, the reading and your answers, the make's name and notes, and the measurements it is sized to. After that, each one uses a pattern.
- Redrawing a pattern you have for new measurements is free. It does not ask the pattern engine again.
- SewSlay's own tested patterns are free.
- Sewing questions are free.
If a design fails on our side, or no usable pattern comes out of it, it does not count. Your patterns reset when each month of your plan starts. Unused patterns do not carry over.
Good questions
Do I need a card?
No. Everything except the pattern engine is free. Choose a plan when you want it to draft your own ideas.
Is my data private?
Yes. SewSlay has no ads or trackers, and we don't sell your data. You can export or delete all of it at any time. The privacy policy has the details.
Will it fit?
It's drafted to your measurements. For a first make of a new shape, sew a toile: a quick test in cheap fabric.
Does it work on my phone?
Yes. Layouts and the projector are happier on a bigger screen.
What if I use all my patterns?
Upgrade from your account and the bigger plan's patterns are there straight away. Or wait for your next month. Sewing questions stay free, and so do the first 10 reads of each make's description.
How do I cancel?
From your account, any time. Your plan runs to the end of the month you paid for and you're not charged again. The refunds and cancelling page has the details, or write to [email protected].
